27,500 patient list across five sites in the Region

SALARY £9.10 per hour

FULL OR PARTTIME HOURS TO BE AGREED - FLEXIBLE WORKING PATTERNS ALSO AVAILABLE

MORNING OR AFTERNOON SHIFTS POSSIBLE - OPEN 8.00AM TO 6.30PM

Job summary

Based at the main site in St Mary’s Island but you may be required to work across all sites according to workload demands.

You will be required to work across all sites according to workload demands or any other place within the Medway Region which MPA may reasonably require for the proper performance and exercise of your duties. You will not be required to work outside the United Kingdom.

MPA Ltd was awarded an APMS contract to manage this Practice after CQC removed the previous contract holder – it is an exciting time to be part of this turnaround programme.

Essential to have excellent telephone manner to assist patients to identify the correct and most appropriate care pathway.

It is important that you can stay calm under pressure and work well within a highly focussed operation and be prepared to be a flexible member of a busy team.

Experienced Practice Nurse

EXPERIENCED PRACTICE NURSE REQUIRED TO JOIN A NEW TEAM TO WORK IN ST MARY’S ISLAND GROUP PRACTICE, CHATHAM

27,500 patient list across five sites in the Region

SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS - NHS Pension available

FULL OR PART-TIME HOURS TO BE AGREED - MONDAY TO SATURDAY

Job Summary

Based at the main site in St Mary’s Island. You will be required to operate clinics and work closely with the GP’S and lead a team of Nurses and HCAs.

You may be required to work across all sites according to workload demands.

MPA Ltd was awarded an APMS contract to manage this Practice after CQC removed the previous contract holder – it is an exciting time to be part of this turnaround programme.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team and working in General Practice, face to face and telephone/video consultations and triage minor illnesses.

Essential to have excellent computer, patient / people skills along with an eye for detail and be prepared to be flexible being a key member of the clinical team influencing and developing the role.

An understanding of the EMIS Web or similar clinical system is essential.

Experienced Salaried GP’s

EXPERIENCED SALARIED GP’S REQUIRED TO JOIN A NEW TEAM TO WORK IN ST MARY’S ISLAND GROUP PRACTICE, CHATHAM

27,500 patient list across five sites in the Region

SALARY NEGOTIABLE BUT COMMENSURATE WITH QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE IRO £10,500 - £12,000 per session / NHS Pension available

FULL OR PARTTIME HOURS TO BE AGREED - MONDAY TO FRIDAY

SIX WEEKS ANNUAL LEAVE PLUS BANK /PUBLIC HOLIDAYS (Pro-rata) ONE WEEKS STUDY LEAVE PA

Job summary

Based at the main site in St Mary’s Island but expected to operate clinics and work closely with the other clinicians in all sites according to workload demands.

MPA Ltd was awarded an APMS contract to manage this Practice after CQC removed the previous contract holder – it is an exciting time to be part of this turnaround programme.

The post-holder will provide general medical services managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a Primary Care setting, face to face and telephone/video consultations including home visits.

The appointee will also have the opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.

An understanding of the EMIS Web clinical system would be an advantage.

The post holder will be enthusiastic, conscientious and able to integrate easily into the team.

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two references.
